The Accounts Payable Officer will oversee and manage payment processing and reconciliation tasks within the Transport & Distribution industry. This temporary position, based in Western Sydney, offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Description

  • Process and reconcile supplier invoices accurately and efficiently using a large ERP.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Review and resolve discrepancies, including liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
  • Assist in month-end reporting and account reconciliations.
  • Respond to accounts payable queries promptly and professionally.
  • Support the team with additional administrative duties as required.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:

  • Proficiency in large ERP software.
  • A strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
