The Role:

We're looking for a high-calibre Restoration Technician with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in advanced structural drying techniques. You'll be part of a skilled and fast-moving team supporting residential and commercial restoration projects — with a focus on efficient, evidence-based drying strategies.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct site assessments and develop tailored drying plans.

• Implement multiple drying strategies including:

• Heat drying systems (e.g., Drymatic, Boost Bars)

• refrigerant dehumidification
• Positive and negative pressure drying
• Containment setups and controlled environments
• Push & pull drying techniques
• Injection and underfloor drying systems
• Monitor, document, and adjust drying processes for maximum efficiency.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, insurance reps, and clients.
• Work as part of a team on both local and catastrophe response projects.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in the water damage restoration or related industry.
• Strong technical understanding of drying science and building materials.
• Familiarity with moisture mapping, psychrometrics, and air movement.
• Proven ability to set up, monitor, and adjust drying systems independently.
• High attention to detail, safety focus, and problem-solving mindset.
• Clean manual driver's licence.
• Bonus points if you hold IICRC or equivalent training.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Attend water damage, fire damage, sewerage ingress & mould jobs
• Perform all areas of mitigation & restoration works as required, including equipment installation & monitoring
• Liaise with internal office staff, project managers & external clients
• Prepare & present damage, inspection & inventory lists reports for insurers
• Complete all necessary job documentation

Key Selection Criteria:

• Experience in hands on, physically demanding roles
• Restoration Industry and IICRC certification (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Desire to go above & beyond to deliver exceptional customer service

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment
• Computer and Microsoft Office skills (Intermediate to advanced)
• Proactive nature & good work ethic
• Must have a valid driver's license
