Profile Build Group & Profile Restoration is a building and restoration company specialising in delivering exceptional commercial and insurance repairs, emergency and escape of liquids repairs within residential and commercial sectors and is a preferred panel builder for numerous insurance and loss adjusting companies ensuring ongoing consistent projects.

As our client portfolio and escape of liquids contract with our insurances clients continues to grow, we are seeking a personable, flexible person to fill the full-time role of Restoration Technician, for our restoration division, Profile Restoration.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Complete assessments, specialist restoration reports and where required repair scope of works to residential and commercial projects
  • Water, Fire and Mould Damage restoration emergencies
  • Developing excellent professional relationships with clients
  • Liaising with Project Coordinator and clients
  • Usage of Restoration Equipment to carry out remediation and restoration works to residential and commercial projects
  • Adhering to client and internal KPI's
  • Provide a high level of customer service, communication and computer skills

ABOUT YOU:

  • Restoration Technician experience with both Home and Contents Restoration
  • Insurance industry training will be provided however previous experience will be advantageous
  • Experience in carpet laying, the building industry, remediation works, or trade background is highly regarded
  • Excellent report writing abilities including: Contents Manifest Lists and Restoration Reports
  • Background of producing accurate priced scopes of works
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution skills

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Driver's Licence
  • A minimum of three years as a restoration technician
  • IICRC qualification highly regarded
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • A working knowledge of the QBCC Standards and Tolerances, Australian Standards and WH&S
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills, repair management systems and Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive nature and be keen to work as a member of a successful, positive team
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Previous history using Prime or Encircle is advantageous but not required.
