About the role

As part of our experienced team of Collectors, you will be responsible for:

  • Working as a member of a team to deliver high level of customer service to achieve quality outcomes
  • Building rapport with customers
  • Perform customer service calls and collection calls (where necessary)
  • Negotiating payment terms and finding a resolution
  • Liaising with key stakeholders
  • Meeting KPI's
  • Ensuring collections are performed in compliance with the privacy act

Skills and experience

  • Strong customer service background / orientation
  • Ability to deal with a variety of situations involving collection events
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Professional & confident phone manner
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular Excel & Outlook)
  • Ability to work to deadlines & under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously
