Recruitment Officer

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Conduct end to end recruitment activities across allocated administration & asset-based roles within the business
  • Source and attract candidates using databases, fairs and expos, print and online media platforms
  • Coordinate booking of appointments for candidates such as interviews and medicals as required
  • Delivering an outstanding candidate experience at every touch point of the candidate journey
  • Continually review and develop new recruitment strategies to fill vacancies as quickly as possible
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed

What You'll Bring: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, extensive relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully deliver high quality outcomes and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and time-management skill
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with complex matters.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have working rights in Australia

Please Note
: The successful applicant will be offered an initial 12 month fixed-term contract with the intention of then becoming a permanent employee. This is part of Busways hiring policy for all admin roles. Our rate of conversion to permanent positions is over 90%.
