Where the team fits in
The Performance Media Manager role forms part of the Consumer Marketing team, who are focused on driving marketing outcomes for the , , Mortgage Choice, Flatmates and brands. The Consumer Marketing team sits within the Audience & Marketing function, which forms part of the larger Product & Audience group led by Melina Cruickshank.
Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, the Performance Media Manager will be support in the implementation, optimisation and reporting of performance strategy for , , Flatmates and
What The Role Is All About
- Build and execute best in class performance marketing strategies across our , and brands
- Ensure digital media channels are effectively contributing to and driving monthly unique audience targets across all brands that you manage
- Ensure digital channels directly contribute to achieving 2M monthly active members taking meaningful actions on (e.g. seller leads & property claims)
- Leading a team of two Performance Marketing Specialists you will be responsible for their professional growth development within REA Group, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment and engagement with business OKRs
- In-house delivery of all brand campaign activity across digital channels including Meta, TikTok and Google inc. YouTube.
- Responsibility of marketing budgets in excess of $10m with regular auditing to ensure we are investing this budget optimally across our brands to deliver business outcomes
- Accountability to multiple product teams to ensure we collaborate effectively and achieve all business targets (e.g. audience, seller leads & property claims) and in doing so proactively demonstrate the value of performance marketing channels
- Proactively share and demonstrate the impact and value of performance marketing with multiple product stakeholder teams within Consumer Product
- Actively develop and manage external partner relationships (e.g. Google, Meta, TikTok) to unlock incremental business value and access to new product & tech opportunities for REA Group
- A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g. analytics, finance & SEO) to ensure optimal execution of performance marketing campaigns
- Identify new opportunities to expand or evolve our performance marketing strategy through in-platform optimisations or new to market technology
Who We're Looking For
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a digital or performance marketing role, specifically with a focus on performance channels such as search, social, display & video
- A demonstrated ability to effectively run high performing digital campaigns showcasing a demonstratable link to driving business revenue growth
- Experience managing and delivering positive ROI with a seven-figure performance marketing budget
- Experience delivering and measuring large scale ($1M+) brand campaign across digital channels
- Ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of marketing measurement and attribution of digital channels; experience working with marketing mix models considered favourable
- High proficiency in biddable management tools including Google Ads, Meta Ads & TikTok Ads
- High proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
- Experience across Google Marketing Platform is considered a strong advantage (e.g. DV360, CM360, Google Tag Manager & BigQuery)
