
Disputes Consultant Recoveries

The Role:
Due to continued growth, we are looking for Disputes Consultants to join our Recoveries team in North Lakes.
As a Disputes Consultant you will manage a portfolio of Uninsured Recoveries files that are disputed within the Recovery & Settlements Department, whilst achieving cost effective and quality claims handling through robust relationships with internal and external service providers.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Investigating and resolving disputes from uninsured third parties
- Providing recommendations on how individual claims should be resolved
- Dealing with inbound queries from third parties and clients on relevant claims
- The ability to explain to third parties why we are holding them liable &; help them understand the reasons behind our decision
- Providing a point of reference to other consultants on related matters
Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous debt collection, paralegal or insurance claims experience required
- Well grounded negotiation and communication skills
- Able to deal effectively and confidently with conflict
- Effective time management capabilities
- A solid understanding of motor vehicle liability
- A strong knowledge of how our end to end recovery process works
- Excellent phone manner and customer service skills.
- Sharp eye for detail and confidence in decision making
- Self motivated and able to work unsupervised
