About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to take full control of the daily operations and drive the future success of our Northbridge venue. This is a pivotal role for someone who wants to grow with a thriving business and make their mark.

You will be responsible for:

  • Organising and controlling the overall operations of the restaurant to provide exceptional dining and catering services.
  • Selecting, training, and supervising all front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient team environment.
  • Managing staff performance, including managing rosters, labour costs, and operational budgets in line with business targets
  • Working closely with Chefs and kitchen staff, contributing ideas based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget, and maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
  • Ensuring dining facilities comply with all licensing, safety, and workplace requirements
  • Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service, actively handling feedback to ensure a superb guest experience.
  • Taking reservations, greeting guests, and assisting in taking orders during peak periods.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up, in a fast-paced, table-service restaurant environment.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant management experience is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of restaurant management, from financial controls to staff development.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating a delight experience.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management.
  • Full Australian working rights are required for this position.
