We're on the lookout for an experienced and hands-on Duty Manager to join our team at Elizabeth Quay. Our café, bar, and restaurant is known for exceptional coffee, fresh breakfasts, and warm hospitality — all set against Perth's most iconic waterfront backdrop.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leading from the front, takes ownership of operations during their shifts, and enjoys a lifestyle-friendly roster — daytimes through the week, with only 2–3 night shifts on weekends as we move into summer.

What you'll be doing

  • Running day-to-day venue operations during your shifts
  • Leading, training, and motivating a team of casual staff
  • Ensuring smooth service standards across coffee, food, and bar operations
  • Managing all opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance
  • Acting as the senior point of contact on shift, solving problems and maintaining standards
  • Supporting the Venue Manager with rostering, stock control, and staff development

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor, or similar role in cafés, restaurants, or bars
  • Strong barista and coffee knowledge with a passion for quality service
  • Confident leadership skills and the ability to foster a professional, fun, and collaborative workplace culture
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A hands-on operator who thrives in busy service environments
