About the Role
We're seeking a proactive Contract Administrator to join our team working on infrastructure and property development projects. Reporting to the Senior Contract Administrator and working within the Strategic Growth & Infrastructure team, this role offers the opportunity to work part-time or full-time depending on your career goals and availability.
You'll be involved in the end-to-end contract lifecycle from concept through to final delivery across consultants, suppliers, and contractors. You'll be part of a supportive environment with real opportunities to contribute.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scopes of work, prepare RFQs, and support procurement strategies and processes
- Review tender submissions and assist in negotiations and contract recommendations
- Manage contract documentation, progress claims and payment schedules
- Liaise with legal, internal teams, consultants and contractors
- Monitor costs, risks and budgets while supporting project delivery timelines
- Maintain compliance with SOILCO's IMS (Integrated Management System) and WHS standards
- Assist with site inspections, logistics and program tracking
- Proactively support dispute resolution and contractual issue resolution
What We're looking For
- Relevant qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Contract Administration or a related field
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in contract administration (ideal but not essential for junior candidates)
- A proactive, detail-focussed mindset
- Proficient in Procore, MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam or similar tools
- Understanding of construction practices, drawings and standards
- Confident working with contractors, engineers and consultants
- Valid Drivers Licence
