About The Role
DBG Health is looking for
a commercially minded and detail-driven
Finance Analyst
to join our
Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A)
team. In this pivotal role, you'll support financial performance, business partnering, and strategic decision-making across our Hospitals channel — providing insights that help shape key commercial outcomes and drive growth across the business.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for Hospital revenue, costs, and sales & marketing expenses.
- Maintain and update profitability trackers, providing clear visibility of performance by customer or channel.
- Conduct detailed analysis of hospital tenders, pricing, and profitability to support commercial decisions.
- Present insights and commentary that turn financial data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Finance Business Partner and broader FP&A team to align financial insights with business goals.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Trade Strategy teams to understand business drivers and translate them into meaningful financial outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation, adapting communication style to suit different stakeholder needs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain clear documentation of financial processes, procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Contribute to ongoing FP&A initiatives, including data integrity improvements and reporting enhancements.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the FP&A team
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or planning within a corporate environment (pharmaceutical experience highly regarded).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, and data visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convert data into clear business insights.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- CPA or CA qualification (or currently working towards) desirable.
