Position Overview:
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the MSP industry and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can develop new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, demonstrate our products and solutions, and drive revenue growth.
Location: Melbourne (Hybrid/Remote Options Available)
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the target market, focusing on small to medium-sized businesses.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored IT solutions.
Product and Solutions Demonstrations: Conduct in-depth demonstrations of our products and solutions to prospective clients, highlighting key features, benefits, and how they can address specific business challenges.
Presentations: Create and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing our services and solutions in a clear and impactful manner.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest IT services and solutions we offer, including managed services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Proposal Preparation: Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotes that meet client needs.
Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, including follow-ups and after-sales support.
Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and updates to management.
Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the IT industry, preferably within an MSP or IT service provider.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of managed IT services, Microsoft technologies, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, unified communication solutions and digital transformation.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Product Demonstration Skills: Ability to effectively demonstrate IT products and solutions to clients, tailoring the presentation to their specific needs.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Technology Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and an understanding of IT service management tools.
Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Experience working with SMEs in various industries.
- Knowledge of Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools, and cybersecurity tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products and solutions.
- Understanding of the Australian IT market and trends.
