Your Opportunity:
Bring creativity, innovation, inspiration and an educational focus as a Digital Learning Designer. This role will contribute to shaping how our global Retail Team learns, engages with our systems and content, and connects to our Lovisa Mission, key business objectives, learning strategy and 10+1 Culture Commitments. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in transforming information into meaningful, visually compelling, and learner-focused digital experiences that inspire engagement and performance.
This role will partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on our global learning strategy and key business objectives, designing digital learning assets, videos, and interactive experiences that reflect our brand identity. All aligned to our L&D delivery framework: one part communication, one part education, one part inspiration/celebration. In addition, this role will collaborate closely with the LMS Administrator to bring these learning assets/initiatives/programs to life improving the learner experience, driving engagement, and supporting measurable impact across our global Retail Team.
The Digital Designer will be responsible for:
Digital Content Design & Development
- Design and develop high-quality digital learning assets.
- Apply strong visual storytelling and animation principles to enhance learner engagement and retention.
- Translate information into visually clear, accessible, and learner-focused designs.
Video & Multimedia Production
- Develop and edit multimedia content using Synthesia (AI), Adobe Suite, and Canva.
- Produce dynamic motion graphics, animated explainers, and brand-consistent learning videos.
Brand Strategy & Design Identity
- Support the creation of brand identities for L&D programs and leadership initiatives.
- Ensure all materials align with the company's global brand and tone guidelines.
- Uphold accessibility, inclusivity, and translation-readiness standards across all design outputs.
- Support with design, concept development (mood board and design brief) and execution, printing and distribution of physical assets, materials, promotional items, and décor for internal global and in-market events.
Learning Experience, UX/UI & LMS Collaboration
- Contribute to the design and enhancement of Learning Management System (LMS) and digital learning environments.
- Partner with the LMS Administrator to deliver programs through our LMS with the objective to improve learner experience, drive engagement, increase productivity, and deliver on business objectives meeting all benchmark KPIs, including support with data analytics and measurable system insights.
- Support with system implementations, and advancements in technological functionality.
- Collaborate to improve user experience and learning flow within online platforms.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with global stakeholders and SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to ensure learning design aligns with objectives, global and local market needs.
- Communicate design concepts and progress updates clearly across L&D cross-functional specialisations, relevant Support Centre Department and Retail stakeholders.
Research & Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on design trends, digital learning technologies, and AI-based tools.
- Proactively identify opportunities to innovate learning delivery and improve visual communication effectiveness.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrate creative excellence by transforming complex information into clear, visually compelling learning materials.
- Balance design aesthetics with instructional intent to ensure all digital assets are engaging, purposeful, and learner centric.
- Confidently manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, supporting multiple stakeholders concurrently.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with global stakeholders and subject matter experts to align deliverables with business objectives.
- Maintain a strong grasp of brand strategy, ensuring every asset reflects our identity, tone, and quality standards.
- Apply UX/UI principles to optimise learner journeys and digital platform usability.
- Digital tools experience: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Synthesia (AI), Gamma, SurveyMonkey,
- Leverage analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to continuously enhance learner engagement and experience.
- Stay curious, keeping up-to-date with design, technology, and learning trends with the ability to anticipate needs and provide solutions to drive innovation across all digital learning initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail with determination to achieve results.
- Openness/willingness to change and adapt quickly to shifting business priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously and exercise discretion.
