The Role As a Business Manager (BM), you will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of client accounts. You will ensure smooth campaign delivery, drive results, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve business objectives. You will also lead and mentor a team of direct reports, supporting their professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Understand client business objectives and deliver strategic, results-driven solutions.
- Manage multiple stakeholders across clients and agency teams.
- Monitor performance and ensure KPIs are met, escalating issues when needed.
Financial Management
- Work with the Investment team to create effective media plans and negotiate with media partners.
- Ensure client budgets, fees, and campaign jobs are invoiced and reconciled accurately.
- Maintain adherence to agency financial processes and reporting standards.
Work & Project Management
- Maintain the integrity of campaign strategy throughout implementation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns on time.
- Manage timelines, WIP meetings, and cross-department communication effectively.
Media Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners.
- Keep up-to-date with media trends and share insights with clients and teams.
- Monitor campaign performance and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
People Management
- Lead, mentor, and support direct reports, fostering a positive team culture.
- Identify skills gaps, capacity challenges, and workflow improvements, escalating as required.
- Ensure the team adheres to agency values and best practices.

- Several years' experience in client-facing media or agency roles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and direct reports effectively.

The salary for this role is from $80,000 to $105,000 inclusive superannuation.
