Located in the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland (just 30mins from the M1), Tamborine Mountain College is an independent, co-educational College for Kindy to Yr 12.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic part-time Accounts Officer to join our team.

Position

  • 8am to 4pm (hours may be negotiable)

  • Mondays and Tuesdays

  • 4 weeks (pro-rata) annual leave per year

  • working with a small, highly experienced team

  • commencing asap.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Officer delivers administrative support for the College's Accounts Department, including responsibilities related to the TMC Early Learning Centre accounts and funding.

This role contributes to the College's operations by assisting with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and various other financial and administrative duties.

The Accounts Officer must uphold an exemplary level of confidentiality and discretion in the undertaking of this role, as well as display excellent attention to detail.

Requirements

  • current or ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children)

  • current or ability to obtain a positive Police Check

  • at least 2 years experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general finance procedures

  • sound knowledge of general office practices

  • experience with Kidsoft and TASS softwares highly regarded.
