Stomping Ground is a proudly independent Melbourne brewery with a simple belief: beer should be for everyone. Since opening our doors in 2016, we've been on a mission to bring people together over quality craft beer, great food, and good times.

Our operations go beyond brewing. From our flagship Collingwood Beer Hall to our vibrant beer gardens and taprooms in St Kilda & Moorabbin. We create spaces where mates, families, and beer lovers can connect. Each location is built around the same core values—warm hospitality, inclusivity, and a passion for sharing the craft beer experience.

We brew a wide range of beers inspired by both traditional styles and modern creativity, all made on site in our state-of-the-art breweries. Our team is made up of passionate brewers, chefs, and hospitality legends who care deeply about quality, sustainability, and community.

Whether it's pouring pints in the Beer Hall, hosting events, collaborating with local producers, or sharing our beer at festivals, Stomping Ground is more than just a brewery—we're a community hub for everyone who loves good beer and good company.

THE GIG

As our Accounts Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping our finances flowing as smoothly as our beer. You'll manage accounts receivable and payable, process invoices, reconcile accounts, and support the finance team with end-of-month and ad-hoc reporting. You'll work in conjunction with other parts of the business, assisting them on an ongoing basis.

Key tasks include:

  • Processing and reconciling sales and supplier invoices

  • Supporting monthly reporting for finance and marketing

  • Assisting with credit applications and customer account management

  • Provide administrative support to other key areas of the business

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're after someone with:

  • 1+ years of experience in accounts or finance (hospitality or FMCG industry experience highly regarded)

  • A relevant qualification in accounting or finance

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Proficiency with accounting systems and reconciliations

  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and love for working in a team

  • A commitment to maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy in all work
