We provide an impressive event venue, with over 20 different event spaces and an abundance of outdoor areas and lawns. Situated on a luscious and green 34-hectare site in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

Opportunity

We're seeking a professional and personable Casual Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. In this customer-facing role, you'll be the first point of contact for our members, raceday guests, owners, and VIPs, providing exceptional service and support to our Events and Operations teams.

The Role – Be the Face of Aquis ParkStep into a dynamic front-of-house role where no two days are the same. As our Casual Receptionist, you'll play a key part in creating an exceptional experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

What You'll Be Doing:

· Be the warm and welcoming first point of contact for guests, members, trainers, and owners — in person

over the phone, and via email

· Handle enquiries with professionalism, efficiency, and a helpful attitude

· Coordinate smoothly with internal teams and assist visitors during exciting race days and events

· Keep our reception area looking sharp, polished, and always ready to impress

Flexible Work Schedule:

· Casual role with 1–2 shifts per week (Monday to Saturday)

· Increase shifts during peak periods of Spring and Summer Racing Carnival.

About You

· Experience in reception or front-of-house roles, and you know how to make a great first impression

· Take pride in your polished presentation and professional, approachable manner

· Have a genuine passion for customer service, with warm and friendly interpersonal skills

· Communicate clearly and confidently — whether face-to-face, on the phone, or via email

· Possess strong attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

· Stay calm and collected when managing challenging enquiries or resolving issues

· You are confident using Microsoft Office; bonus points if you've worked with Micropower

· You are self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently

· Have an interest in horse racing or events — not essential, but definitely a plus
