Casual Medical Receptionist – Surgical Specialist Practice

We really love our practice. Over the years, we've worked hard to create not just a place where patients receive excellent care, but also a workplace where our team feels valued and enjoys coming to work. We are incredibly proud of the kind, hardworking team we've built, and we are excited to be growing again — with the addition of a new surgeon, we are looking for another team member to join us.

We are seeking a Casual Medical Receptionist to work around 2.5 days per week, with flexibility to cover additional shifts when needed.

About the role

As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you'll help us deliver the welcoming, professional experience we are known for. Your role will include:

·       Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone.

·       Scheduling appointments and managing bookings.

·       Supporting our surgeons, sports doctors, and admin team with day-to-day tasks.

·       Managing Medicare, health fund, and third-party billing processes (training provided if needed).

·       Using practice software to keep records accurate (Genie experience would be fantastic, but not essential).

We're looking for someone who is:

·       Organised and reliable, with a calm presence in busy moments.

·       A genuine team player who enjoys working collaboratively.

·       Experienced in medical reception or administration (preferred, but not essential).
