Homeless Healthcare is a dynamic, not for profit organisation providing healthcare to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Perth.

The organisation operates a variety of services including a fixed site GP clinic, mobile GP clinics, street outreach and a Medical Respite Centre.

We are looking for an experienced receptionist/medical administrator to become a key member of our team. You will be based at our clinic in Highgate.

Essential Criteria:

  • An enthusiastic and friendly disposition with excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar customer-facing administrative role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of team and work independently as duties require.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to effectively manage competing priorities, including assessing urgency of response with a positive approach to consumer service.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including sound knowledge of Microsoft365
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of Medicare Australia documentation, Medical Billing and Patient Management software desirable
  • An understanding of trauma-informed and patient-centred care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour
