Manly Road 24hr Veterinary Hospital

Manly Road Veterinary Hospital is seeking a positive and enthusiastic Client Support Professional to join our fabulous team on a Part-Time basis.  Our Client Support Team delivers excellent customer service, supports clients with information and manages a huge volume of calls for themselves and other teams within Manly Road Veterinary Hospital.

About the Role:

This role is primarily responsible for:

  • Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Greeting clients and organising waiting room workflow.
  • Management of a busy email inbox.
  • Coordination and booking of appointments.
  • Liaison between clients and the clinical team.
  • Handling of cash, EFTPOS and 3rd party finance and insurance.
  • Requesting results, samples and other documents from third parties.

About You:

This is a challenging position as you will be a key member of the front of house team, directing client and patient traffic in our busy hospital.  We are looking for someone with a warm personality who can bring a positive, engaging and helpful attitude to the role and the team.

  • Experience in a similar, high volume receptionist position.
  • Intermediate level user of MS Office and booking programs.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends (1 in 3) and public holidays on a rotating roster.
  • The ability to remain professional while dealing with a diverse clientele.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
  • A reliable, committed work ethic
  • Ability to demonstrate a resilient attitude.
  • Compassion and kindness a must.
