Hunter Accommodation and Respite Services is one of the leading service providers with over twenty four years experience catering for people with disability across the Hunter Valley area. We provide Short and Long-Term Accommodation, Supported Independent Living, Specialised Community Participation, In-Home care and more We value Individuality, Patience, Respect, Integrity & Acceptance.

We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers to help provide support and assistance to our Participants with their daily living needs. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in an individual's life. Your positive attitude and passion for life will be the most important aspect of your role.

What you'll need to join our team:


• Australian Drivers Licence (mandatory) and reliable vehicle


• NDIS Worker screening Check


• First Aid Certificate


• Experience working with people who have a range of behavioural challenges, physical disabilities and medical issues.


• Be willing to be available to work a roster; these are 24/7 services so we require staff who can work sleepover and active night shifts as well as day shifts.


• Be a caring, enthusiastic, positive and passionate person


• Display a strong teamwork ethic
