THE ROLE:

The Civil Engineer will be responsible in assisting with the planning and design activities to ensure that a high standard of quality is achieved for the assigned project. The Civil Engineer is also responsible for providing technical input to project teams to ensure that technical standards and efficiencies are achieved and that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidates will be experienced in:

  • Autocad and Civil3D design of embankments and roads;

  • Settlement analysis and modelling;

  • Stability analysis of embankments and excavations;

  • Seepage modelling and assessment for embankments;

  • Quantity calculations and preparation of bills of quantities;

  • Preparation of report components;

  • Preparation of contract documents and drawings.

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or associated qualification;

  • Well-developed computer skills, particularly engineering related and office automation packages;

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills;

  • A good analytical and problem-solving mind;

  • A wiliness to work as an integral part of the team and to both teach and learn to strengthen that team;

  • Commitment to travel interstate and internationally when required.
