The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Perth, WA on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the State Manager, you will play a key role in all aspects of foundation engineering including the tender, design and the project management function for a variety of civil and building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with securing work through efficient and safe design and tendering of foundation projects.
- Review and analyse tender documents, provide accurate cost estimates, and submit tenders as per company processes.
- Prepare and document safe, efficient, and cost-effective foundation designs in conjunction with management.
- Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure all works conform to tender, design, and safety requirements.
- Provide technical advice and support to project teams throughout the duration of the project.
- Procure materials and coordinate plant requirements for assigned projects.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including tenders, reports, and quality assurance records.
- Liaise effectively with clients, sub-contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by complying with relevant standards, regulations, and company procedures.
- Undertake professional development to maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and industry standards.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (such as Structural, Geotechnical, or Construction Engineering) is required.
- 7-10 years experience in geotechnical/foundation, building, or civil engineering is essential.
- Solid Project Management experience is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design software.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and innovation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
