Sunraysia Residential Services Inc. (SRS) is a not-for-profit community organisation providing aged care and disability support for over 40 years.

The NDIS Finance Coordinator is responsible for the financial administration and oversight of NDIS participants' plans. This includes managing budgets, processing claims and payments, ensuring compliance with NDIS requirements, and supporting participants to maximise the benefits of their funding.

The NDIS Finance Coordinator acts as a financial intermediary, providing participants with choice and control over their supports while handling all financial and administrative tasks related to their NDIS plan.

Responsibilities & Duties:
Financial Management

  • Process and verify invoices in line with NDIS guidelines.

  • Submit funding claims via the NDIS portal and manage timely payments.

  • Track and manage participant budgets to ensure proper fund usage.

  • Provide financial summaries and statements to participants.

  • Support budgeting and recommend cost-effective service options.

Compliance and Administration

  • Ensure transactions and agreements comply with NDIS standards and regulations.

  • Maintain accurate financial records for audits and reporting.

  • Prepare and submit necessary reports to participants and the NDIA.

  • Identify and reduce financial/compliance risks, protecting participant data.

Participant Support and Capacity Building

  • Help participants understand and utilise their NDIS plans effectively.

  • Foster participants' self-management and financial literacy skills.

  • Coordinate with participants, providers, and NDIA to resolve issues.

Other Tasks

  • Ensure data accuracy in NDIS claims and follow up as needed.

  • Provide general administrative and financial support, including invoice status updates and assistance with accounts, payroll, and statements.
