Wellways is committed to reconciliation, lived experience and inclusivity. We strongly encourage and warmly welcome people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people with a lived experience of mental health and disability and people who identify as LGBTIQA+ to apply. Even if you only meet some of the criteria, we'd love to hear from you.
  • Lead and inspire a peer wellbeing team, creating a culture where team members thrive and feel empowered
  • Support meaningful change in local mental health services, ensuring every participant experience is safe, inclusive and meaningful

About the Opportunity

You'll also work closely with other service leaders to ensure care is inclusive, effective, and aligned with best practice.

About You
You're a compassionate and values-driven leader who understands the importance of lived experience in shaping meaningful mental health and wellbeing supports. Inclusive and community-minded, you bring curiosity, integrity and care to your leadership.

In addition, you'll bring:

  • Ability to lead and motivate a designated lived experience workforce
  • Demonstrated experience in embedding lived experience across models of care
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve service delivery
  • Satisfactory National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to undertake
