The Role

We are seeking an experienced Production & Operations Manager with a strong background in the print industry. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee production, lead a growing team, and collaborate closely with sales and marketing to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead daily print and production operations, from setup to dispatch
  • Operate and maintain:
  • Laser cutters
  • Direct-to-object (UV) printers
  • Large-format printers
  • Digital printers
  • Implement workflow improvements to increase efficiency and output
  • Manage machine maintenance schedules and minimise downtime
  • Oversee suppliers, stock, and purchasing with a focus on cost control
  • Maintain and exceed quality standards across all production
  • Recruit, train, and manage production staff, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align production with growth objectives
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and scaling operations as part of the leadership team

About You

  • Proven experience in the print industry, managing and scaling operations (essential)
  • Strong technical knowledge of laser cutting, UV, large-format, and digital printing
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing staff performance
  • Skilled in problem-solving, workflow improvements, and operational efficiency
  • Commercial mindset with experience managing budgets, suppliers, and KPIs
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach
  • Passion for quality craftsmanship and creative production
