An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, team-orientated Graphic Designer to work in a commercial print business. This is a full-time, permanent position.

About the role

As a Graphic Designer, you should have a solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, strong communication skills, and good knowledge of digital production. This role also involves working with customers both over the phone and in person. The ideal candidate will be flexible and ready to support the team as needed.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and preparing artwork while working closely with our production team to ensure designs meet print specifications.
  • Determine client needs from initial brief, providing appropriate solutions and manage expectations.
  • Turn around projects according to deadlines, applying revisions and recommendations as required.
  • Working with digital production printing and finishing equipment. (Training will be provided)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat DC)
  • An understanding of printing and artwork file formats.
  • The ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous practical experience in pre-press and graphic design + Digital print production.
  • Be results-orientated, deadline-driven, and successful in working in a fast-paced, team-focused production environment
  • A positive "can do" attitude
  • Motivation to be a self-starter, pro-active and enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability.
  • A love of processes, ticking the boxes and getting the job done right the first time

You will ideally have experience within a print production environment. Although some experience in similar roles is preferred, if you think you have what it takes to excel in this role, we would love to hear from you. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
