Our diverse portfolio includes work on major projects, such as the Sydney Metro, luxury hotels, high-rise residential and commercial towers, hospitals, universities, major sporting venues, data centers and government & defense facilities.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Project Coordinator with solid experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with a main or subcontractor, having worked on both Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects.

As a key member of the team, you will report to the Director and Operations Manager and take full responsibility for the planning, management and execution of construction cleaning services across multiple large-scale projects. You will be accountable for ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.

This is a demanding, hands-on role that requires early starts (6:45am, Monday–Friday) and occasional Saturday work.

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven leader who can effectively mentor teams, manage project budgets and navigate daily operational challenges with precision. You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative team focused on achieving exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day planning and delivery of construction cleaning works across multiple large-scale projects
  • Coordinate with clients to manage project requirements, ensuring adherence to deadlines and specifications
  • Organise and set up equipment and materials for daily operations across projects
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, providing regular reports on actual versus forecasted expenditures and schedules
  • Lead, mentor and train team members to maintain high productivity, compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards and adherence to operational procedures
  • Ensure the full scope of works is delivered as per the contract, identifying and managing any variations
  • Review and interpret project drawings and elevations to ensure accurate execution
  • Oversee all safety-related communication, documentation and compliance, including Pre-Start meetings, Toolbox Talks and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
  • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality assurance standards are met
  • Address client requests and effectively schedule allocations
  • Optimise job scheduling to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Secure client sign-off for completed work and ensure additional works is properly documented and approved
  • Identify potential risks and hazards, taking appropriate steps to mitigate them
  • Ensure that projects are completed and handed over to clients in line with contract specifications, timelines and quality standards, while maintaining safety
  • Provide detailed and timely project and budget reports to the Operations Manager and Director

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in project coordination and operations within the construction industry
  • Relevant trade qualifications or tertiary qualifications in construction
  • Strong ability to take proactive ownership and manage large-scale projects from start to finish
  • Demonstrated success in managing and delivering projects within budget
  • Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Acute attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain composure and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and client satisfaction at all times
  • Proven leadership skills with a hands-on, collaborative approach
  • Honest, driven, and a highly motivated team player
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
