Customer Service Officer

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our Retail Department Customer Service Team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced environment. You should be customer-focused, able to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, multitask efficiently, meet deadlines, and learn on the fly, all while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
The Retail Department manages the daily operations of our business. Their responsibilities include answering customer inquiries by phone and email, scheduling and confirming appointments, accounts receivable, sales, quoting, coordinating daily installations, providing customer service in the showroom, processing of new orders, and coordinating with the manufacturing team.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- General Office Duties.
- Receiving and actioning customer queries via incoming calls, emails and showroom visits.
- Coordinate appointments & schedule for a team of sales representatives & installation team.
- Processing orders.
- Accounts Receivable including, issuing of invoices, first level debt collection and allocating received payments to orders and invoices.
- Liaise between different departments, customers and management team.
- Providing customers with advice on our available products, explaining sales and installation processes, and understanding our terms and conditions.
- Managing sales and website enquiries.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Previous Customer Service experience in Retail/Sales or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional phone manner.
- Strong team work ethic with a can-do attitude.
- Eye for detail following our administrative processes.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in organisation, and prioritisation, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
