About the role
Our founder and CEO has an impressive record of significant success bringing new products and businesses to market. Working directly with our entrepreneurial CEO this exciting new role will be key in establishing a go to market sales strategy, plans and pitch collateral. You will quickly move to business development, targeting both your existing networks and new industry contacts to sell-in an innovative, sustainable and transformative new product set to change the management and movement of bulk goods across warehouses and logistics.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager with directly relevant experience to be a key member of the start-up team based in Dandenong South, Victoria and working across Australia. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and targeting and building relationships with key clients in warehouse, transport and logistics industries.
What you'll be doing
- Develop go to market sales strategies and plans, including developing USP's, sales and education collateral, channel strategies and target client lists.
- Developing tools and approaches to demonstrate the technical, sustainable and efficiency benefits of the product.
- Develop client specific proposals, tailoring solutions to client's own business and situation.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through direct and digital prospecting, networking, strategic partnerships and advertising.
- Act as the end to end client relationship manager, ensuring product is fully understood, fully utilized and used correctly and safely.
- Analysing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive continuous growth.
- Representing the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8 years of proven success in a sales management or new business development role, essentially from the warehouse, logistics or transport industries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record of high-performing sales results
- Proficient in analysing sales data, forecasting, and developing winning sales strategies
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions to clients
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
