Harry Maxwell has been engaged to search for a global technology leader in underground construction, tunnelling, and mining, delivering advanced equipment, chemical solutions, and service expertise that enhance safety, productivity, and sustainability. With operations in over 30 countries, our client is committed to redefining underground efficiency through innovation and collaboration.
We are seeking a technically proficient and commercially astute Technical Sales Representative to join our Sydney-based team. This role is critical to our client's continued growth in New South Wales, serving as the primary interface between our clients and our integrated portfolio of equipment and chemical solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and fostering long-term partnerships across mining, tunnelling, and civil infrastructure sectors. This is a strategic sales role that combines technical expertise with relationship management to drive value and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the client across NSW and beyond, developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Deliver customised solutions that integrate equipment, chemical products, and service capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering, service, and global R&D teams to address complex technical challenges.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to regional growth strategies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of underground operations to inform solution design and delivery.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in mining, civil, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent technical experience, are viewed favourably.
- Proven track record in B2B technical sales, solution delivery, or client-facing engineering roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into commercial value.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to grow within a global organisation.
- Familiarity with underground construction, tunnelling systems, or chemical applications is highly advantageous.
- Current driver's license and full rights to work.
