Chisholm is seeking an experienced Executive Officer - CMM Services for our Education and Innovation team.

About The Role
As an Executive Officer - CMM Services, your key responsibilities include:

  • Operational management which involves delivering core services through timely, evidence-based recommendations supported by robust analysis, stakeholder consultation, and adaptability to evolving systems and objectives.
  • Maintaining strong communication with Jobs and Skills Councils, contributing to Training Package development, and advising DJSIR on vocational education matters. The role also encompasses preparing structured documentation aligned with CFA milestones, supporting training product implementation, staying informed on VET sector standards and policies, developing accredited courses under DJSIR contractual arrangements.
  • Providing leadership within the CMM Services team by providing clear direction, operational oversight, and strategic guidance to ensure timely delivery of core services and alignment with performance benchmarks. It includes contributing informed advice to national and state training systems, supporting major educational policy initiatives, and managing team functions in line with funding and accountability frameworks.
  • Supporting education innovation at Chisholm which involves contributing insights and actively participating in initiatives that align with the Institute's strategic goals. This includes collaborating with the Education Innovation team, undertaking assigned tasks, and interpreting training package implementation guidelines to assist delivery areas in applying them effectively.
  • Coordinate course reaccreditation and accreditation projects, ensuring timely completion of documentation in alignment with the CFA and relevant frameworks; provide VET industry updates.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through effective collaboration and monitor and report progress to internal and external committees.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders by providing high-quality service, gathering industry intelligence to inform government advice, communicating transparently, and fostering a positive, professional work culture through empathetic and timely support.

About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in vocational education and training, project management, and stakeholder engagement. You bring extensive knowledge of the Australian VET system and RTO operations, along with proven experience in training package development, consultancy services, and education-focused projects. Your strong digital literacy, excellent communication abilities, and collaborative approach enable you to deliver high-quality outcomes in both independent and team-based environments.

Qualifications Required For The Role

  • An equivalent combination of relevant VET qualifications or training.
  • Extensive experience in VET Industry in variety of roles
