As the Senior Administration Officer/Receptionist you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our Eltham.

St Vincent's Care Services Eltham is just 20 kilometres north-east of Melbourne's city centre and is well known for its vast amount of green space. We provide a welcoming and inclusive community where our residents enjoy the comfort of a relaxed lifestyle.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday during standard office hours, based at our Eltham location.

Things that work for us:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role providing administrative services and supporting your Manager with administrative leadership and organisation
  • Oversee financial administration in line with SVCS policies and procedures, including ensuring all cash on premises is accounted for and is securely kept
  • Provide assistance with resident admissions and discharges documentation and folders
  • Provide support in the preparation of reports, and support relevant SVCS audits
  • accreditation and reporting requirements
  • Provide backfill to the Roster Coordinator role when require during periods of absence
  • Standards and provision of services by St Vincent's Care Services
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan
  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities would be beneficial
  • Current flu, COVID-19 vaccination and National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
