Part-Time Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer to join a growing Melbourne-based business 3 days per week in the Richmond area, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as the business continues to expand.
This role is ideal for someone with solid accounting experience who enjoys working in a dynamic, creative environment. Industry background is flexible – we are looking for the right person to fit our creative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Payroll processing and superannuation compliance
- BAS and other statutory reporting preparation
- Assist with budgeting, cashflow, and financial reporting
- Liaise with external accountants and advisors
- Work with international clients and suppliers across multiple time zones and currencies
What We're Looking For:
- Previous bookkeeping / accounts experience (minimum 2–3 years)
- Strong knowledge of Xero (or similar accounting software)
- Experience managing international transactions and multi-currency reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Clear communication and a proactive approach
