Accounts Payable:

- Receive invoices and other accounts payable documentation, check and confirm liability for payment
- Obtain authorisations for payment in accordance with standard procedures and allocate expenditure to correct budget account

Accounts Receivable:

- Receive cheques or payment advices and correspondence associated with the organisations and debtors
- Check and report variations between invoiced amounts and payment received and verify discounts or rebates taken
- Assist in the preparation of debtors lists and prepare necessary reports relating to amounts outstanding
- Correspond diligently with all retailers and stockists to ensure prompt payment of all invoices

General:

- Maintain and improve company accounting systems, XERO.
- Reconcile accounts on a regular basis
- Any other ad-hoc duties as directed by management

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Flexible hours

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
