Role Description

Salon Gabrielle is looking for a part-time Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to shape and grow our brand presence across digital platforms. With a balance of in-salon collaboration (weekly) and remote work, this role offers flexibility, creative autonomy, and the chance to be part of a forward-thinking beauty brand.

You'll be responsible for planning, creating, and executing digital content and campaigns with a strong understanding of brand tone and storytelling. From Instagram Reels to graphic design projects to product launches and promotions, you'll be the voice and vision of Salon Gabrielle and the founder, Gabrielle Roccuzzo, online.

This is a role for someone who combines strategy with creativity, loves the beauty industry, and knows how to bring a boutique brand's personality to life in the digital space.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Strong skills in Communication and Content Strategy
  • Ability in Writing and creating compelling content
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience with graphic design tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with the beauty or hair care industry is beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and manage all social media content for Instagram (Reels, Stories, in-feed) and other platforms.
  • Write and publish brand-aligned captions, campaign copy, and website content.
  • Design and produce creative assets (social, digital, print) in line with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stylists and the leadership team to capture organic, story-driven content.
  • Maintain and update the website (Squarespace or similar).
  • Execute digital campaigns for promotions and product launches.
  • Coordinate content shoots and manage Salon Gabrielle's creative asset library.
  • Track performance metrics and provide insights to refine strategy.

About You

You're a creative, organised and proactive marketer who thrives in a boutique, brand-driven environment. You can take direction, interpret briefs, and also bring your own ideas and vision to the table.

You'll likely bring:

  • 3+ years' experience in social media, digital marketing, or content roles.
  • Strong skills across Instagram, Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite (or similar).
  • Graphic design experience with the ability to produce polished, on-brand assets.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a brand-sensitive, emotionally intelligent tone.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage projects end-to-end.
  • Bonus if you've worked in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or wellness.
