Eclipse has offices in Sydney and Melbourne and deals with brokers and clients from all over Australia.

You will be responsible for

  • Evaluating risks and preparing negotiations for new business opportunities in line with risk appetite as well as preparation of renewals
  • Performing natural catastrophe reviews, assessing risk engineering reports and other documentation relevant to the individual risks
  • Supporting with endorsements, calculations of premiums and other terms and conditions
  • Establish sound business relationships with Eclipse's business partners including intermediaries and clients
  • Assisting with the monitoring of outstanding quotations and pending renewals
  • Demonstrating exceptional customer service and decision making

Your skills & experience

To be considered and successful for this role you must demonstrate

  • Previous insurance experience – ideally 3-5 years in Property or Commercial lines (Underwriting / Claims / Broker)
  • Full understanding of the insurance industry and how the client/broker/insurer relationships operate.
  • Ability to communicate confidently, with impact and influence with clients/brokers
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with a focus on customer service excellence
  • Ability to interpret complex information, review submissions and support Underwriters within team
  • Willingness to grow your personal skills and enhance your insurance knowledge
