About the role:As Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in engaging stakeholders, managing risks, and aligning outcomes. Lead the planning, delivery, and review of capital works projects across our aged care, retirement living, and education operations in Queensland. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of capital works, refurbishments, and maintenance projects
  • Managing consultants, contractors, and internal teams to achieve successful outcomes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Carinity to define scope and requirements
  • Overseeing project budgets, contracts, procurement, and expenditure controls
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Providing regular progress updates, reports, and risk assessments to management
  • Driving continuous improvement and embedding lessons learned into future projects

About you:You are an experienced project leader who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. With a proven background in managing complex construction or property projects, you bring strong financial insight, clear communication, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence.

Your advanced organisational, planning, and leadership skills allow you to guide teams and projects to successful outcomes. You excel at building trusted relationships with stakeholders, engaging collaboratively to deliver results. Experience in aged care, health, retirement living, or education sectors will be highly regarded.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, construction, or architecture
  • 7+ years' experience managing large scale building or construction projects
  • Industry certifications (e.g., PMP, AIPM, PRINCE2)
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, budget, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience managing contractors and consultants
  • Advanced organisational, planning, and leadership capabilities
