This is more than a Project Manager role. We're looking for someone who's going to take on our ethos and help shape the future of our industry. As the Project Manager, you'll work with multiple teams across the business and will be responsible for managing customer projects of varying complexity.

MORE THAN A ROLE

As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will be responsible for the successful execution of multiple projects within IT Infrastructure and cloud technologies, providing guidance, coaching, and project leadership.
Your responsibilities include:
- Successfully delivering customer projects that includes infrastructure, network, azure, Microsoft 365 migration, cloud migrations, security, service desk onboarding, network rollouts and various other managed services engagements
- Transformation and Transition project management skills.
- Ensuring a great customer onboarding experience and seamless transition from project to operations phase.
- Identifying project dependencies and working with relevant departments to ensure dependencies are resolved and plans carried out effectively.
- Enabling better resource management practices to improve utilisation, collaboration and speed to market/outcome.
- Accountability for project outcome, including managing virtual project teams, multiple vendors and customer relationships.
- Championing a team culture where commitments are delivered on time, on budget and on scope, while ensuring quality assurance as well as risk and issue management.
- Developing project artefacts including, initiation document, project plans, risk management plans, resource plans and project status reporting.
- Implementing risk management strategies to manage overall strategic project risks, issues, financials, milestones and benefits realization.
- Preparing project budgets, attaining necessary approvals in a timely manner and monitoring project financials while monitoring and tracking project financials.
- Invoking and managing change management process where necessary.
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of PMO processes and development of the various portfolio and program reports.
- Ensuring standards, quality and a high level of professionalism are maintained whilst ensuring adherence to process and responsibilities as outlined in the Project Management methodology; and
- Managing and participating in post-project implementation reviews, and report on lessons learned as part of overall process improvement.
CERTS AND SKILLS
Don't walk in empty-handed. We want to see these:
- Project Management training and qualifications are highly regarded (such as Prince2 or PMBoK)
- ITIL certification is advantageous
- Membership to Project Management Institutes desirable
THE ABSOLUTES-MUSTS
- Strong experience managing IT Infrastructure projects of varying complexity preferably within MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment with demonstrable experience of transitioning projects to managed services.
- Strong understanding and application of all aspects of project cycle and change management competencies.
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities, including building credibility, establishing rapport, and maintaining communication with stakeholders at all levels, including representation at Steering Committees and meetings.
- Experienced in establishing, leading and managing project teams in a complex operational environment, as well as highly developed facilitation, communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong decision-making and negotiation skills with an ability to influence decisions.
- Commercially savvy while maintaining strong ethics and respecting client confidentiality
