Helismart is a CASA-approved aviation engineering business providing maintenance, overhauls, and servicing of Helicopters. The Role:

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse & WHS Administrator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (approximately three days per week). Flexibility in hours or days will be considered for the right candidate, provided business needs are met.

This role combines inventory control and workplace health & safety administration. You'll ensure smooth management of stock and supplies, assist with procurement and supplier coordination, and help maintain Helismart's high safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate stock control systems and records
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and supplier documentation
  • Coordination of freight and logistics
  • Conduct and reconcile regular stocktakes
  • Support WHS documentation, audits, and reporting
  • Assist with safety inductions, checks, and incident follow-ups
  • Provide general administrative support across the warehouse, engineering, and administration teams.

What we are looking for in the ideal applicant:

  • Highly organised and proactive with strong attention to detail
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and administrative/inventory management systems
  • Able to work independently within a small, professional team
  • Practical, reliable, and committed to accuracy and safety
  • Enjoys being part of a fun, hardworking team environment
  • Prior experience in administration, stock control, logistics, or WHS coordination (preferred but not essential)

Favorable Qualifications:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety
  • Forklift Licence
  • Open, unrestricted driver's license (essential)
