The Client

Our client is a rapidly growing FinTech offering a variety of commercial lending products to serve the needs of Australian SMEs. They pride themselves on their customer service and being a great place to work.

They are looking for multiple Collectors from early/mid-stage to late-stage / recoveries (the spicier end of the ledger), they only hire top-tier talent in the market.

The role

The role has the following responsibilities:

• Manage your day-to-day early and mid-stage collections or

late-stage / recoveries portfolio

• Contacting customers – via telephone, email & SMS

• Negotiate payments and payment arrangements

• Maintaining customer payment records & updating systems

• Take meticulous notes on each customer account

• Strive to hit agreed KPIs

• Continuously look to improve the current processes

• Ad hoc tasks as required

The perfect candidate

The perfect candidate will have the following:

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role

• Commercial collections experience (ideal but not essential)

• A strong customer service focus

• Solid negotiating skills

• Demonstrated initiative, drive, enthusiasm and a team player

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• High attention to detail

• Ability to work well with other people and build good relationships

• Skip-tracing experience if looking for a late-stage recovery role

Remuneration

Remuneration is between $80k - $100k + s + bonus, depending on experience. The more experienced collectors with late-stage commercial experience will be looking at $100k plus super plus bonus.

The client also provides bonuses to staff based on individual and company performance .
