Rampage Marine and Fabrication is seeking a Marine Mechanic to work on both commercial and recreational vessels. Inboard and outboard engines as well as assisting with electrical and construction of commercial vessels. Rampage Marine own and operate a fleet of Landing Crafts, there are opportunities to travel and work overtime hours.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of outboard and inboard engines
  • Good knowledge of electrical and wiring
  • Ability to understand technical instructions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Work under pressure to tight deadlines and Customer expectations
  • Current boat & driver's licence
  • Current forklift licence preferred
  • Work in compliance with all company policies and procedures including WHS

What We're Looking For:

  • Trade qualification in Marine Mechanics
  • Proven experience with outboard/inboard engines
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Forklift licence
  • Strong retention for new knowledge, motors, fitouts and training.
