We are a well-established company in the building industry with a strong reputation and an exciting work culture. We are currently seeking a competent Office Assistant/Accounts to join our dynamic team and contribute to our daily administrative operations.
Position Overview:
As an Office Assistant/Accounts, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our office operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in office management software, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping practices. You will be the linchpin in managing office procedures, coordinating with staff, and maintaining effective communication.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate staff members.
- Organize office operations and assist associates to optimize procedures.
- Create and update records, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments.
- Monitor supplies and handle shortages.
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and address requests or issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
- Perform receptionist duties when needed.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software.
- Utilize MYOB/XERO for bookkeeping tasks.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
