We are a well-established company in the building industry with a strong reputation and an exciting work culture. We are currently seeking a competent Office Assistant/Accounts to join our dynamic team and contribute to our daily administrative operations.

Position Overview:

As an Office Assistant/Accounts, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our office operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in office management software, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping practices. You will be the linchpin in managing office procedures, coordinating with staff, and maintaining effective communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate staff members.
  • Organize office operations and assist associates to optimize procedures.
  • Create and update records, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments.
  • Monitor supplies and handle shortages.
  • Resolve office-related malfunctions and address requests or issues.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software.
  • Utilize MYOB/XERO for bookkeeping tasks.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
