etter and fairer care. Always.
Senior Philanthropy Manager
St Vincent's Foundation Victoria is one of the state's leading hospital foundations, raising funds to support world-class healthcare, research, and innovation across the St Vincent's Health network. Every day, we help deliver compassionate care for those who need it most, and philanthropy is at the heart of making this possible.
We are looking for a senior major gifts professional to step into this high-impact role as Senior Philanthropy Manager.
Working closely with the Director, Philanthropy, and a passionate Foundation team, you will:
- Personally manage a portfolio of 65–80 major donors giving at $10k+
- Design and implement donor cultivation and stewardship strategies that inspire generosity and long-term giving
- Partner with clinicians, executives, and Foundation leaders to connect donors with meaningful healthcare projects
- Lead major donor events and engagement activities that bring our mission to life
- Deliver cases for support, proposals, and campaign materials that clearly communicate impact and outcomes
- Contribute to broader fundraising campaigns and organisational initiatives, ensuring alignment with our values and mission
You will be a natural relationship-builder, with a proven track record in major gifts fundraising or philanthropic campaigns within healthcare, education, arts, or research sectors. You'll combine strategic thinking with strong communication skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders — from senior medical specialists to high-net-worth donors.
In return, you will join a values-led organisation with a collaborative culture and a genuine commitment to making a difference. We offer a competitive salary, generous salary packaging benefits, flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities, and the chance to shape the future of healthcare philanthropy in Victoria.
This is a rare opportunity to join one of Australia's foremost philanthropic health organisations in a values-led culture where your work will directly support those most in need, especially the vulnerable. You will build meaningful donor relationships, drive ambitious fundraising strategies, and contribute to a mission of healing and hope.
Enjoy a competitive salary package, including up to $9,010 in pre-tax benefits annually for approved personal expenses. Benefit from a monthly ADO, flexible work arrangements, ongoing learning and development, plus opportunities for career growth and varied internal experiences.
