To make it all happen, we have a dedicated and experienced team and are looking to welcome a Service Manager to support the team.

About the Role

The additional Service Manager position has been created to reduce the portfolio for all Service Managers.

The position is responsible for the coordination, support and guidance of House Leaders and Lifestyle Assistants in the provision of high-quality customer care in a residential setting.

Additionally, the Service Manager manages the staff rosters for their houses and conducts effective, timely and regular communications with stakeholders, team members and management.

This position requires a highly motivated Leader to support House Leaders and drive consistent and compliant practices in the support of our participants.

This head office is located in Beenleigh and the position supports houses in Brisbane, Logan and on the Gold Coast, and therefore requires travel to participant houses for Team Meetings and to ensure the high quality of services are being provided.

The Service Manager will participate in a rotating on-call roster once fully trained in the position and does not work on shift with the Participants, but regularly visits the houses to support the employees and ensure supports are of a high quality.

About You

You have Team Leader/Service Manager experience or and have the ability to build rapport with Stakeholders, mentor employees to provide quality care and have an in depth understanding of the NDIS funding model and how this relates to supports and therefore rosters.

Ideally you will have managed rosters in line with the SCHADS award or have the ability to learn and apply the learnings.

With your high level of written and verbal communication, you are able to finalise stakeholder reports in the required timeframe (The house Leader prepares the reports) and ensure the stakeholders are updated on Participant information and supports.

Requirements

  • Unlimited rights to work in Australia
  • Certificate IV in Individual Support, or higher qualifications.
  • 3 years of related experience.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Good IT skills and experience in client management systems.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple services.
  • Proven ability to manage teams with positive results.
  • Strong understanding of changing standards and codes of conduct in the industry.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
  • NDIS Worker Screen.
  • Blue Card
  • Current first aid and CPR.
  • Current Police Check
