- Coordinate contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to the required standard.
- Lead facility upgrade projects, including the specification, procurement, and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with WHS and relevant Australian electrical standards, maintaining all required documentation and permits.
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, identifying opportunities for performance improvement across the site.
- Contribute to technical documentation such as design files, specifications, and maintenance records.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers and scientists to ensure facility readiness for scale-up, testing, and demonstration activities.
The ideal candidate for this job will have/be:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (required).
- 3+ years of experience in facility management, maintenance, or industrial operations.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, building services, and energy management.
- Demonstrated experience in equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance planning.
- Familiarity with Australian electrical standards, WHS regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Comfortable with work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
- Experience using 3D modelling software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD would be advantageous.
- Open minded and able to adapt quickly to new information and stakeholder requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
- A relevant trades background (e.g. electrician) would be beneficial.
This is a very hands-on role which also requires good interpersonal skills to form relationships with internal and external stakeholders. If this opportunity is of interest and you meet the criteria above, please APPLY or email us directly at
