The Middle Market team within our Corporate and Institutional Banking group is dedicated to delivering innovative capital solutions to institutional, corporate, and private equity clients. We are a corporate and leveraged finance team providing growth and acquisition finance to Australian companies to support their strategic goals. The Client Coverage function is responsible for managing and deepening existing client relationships, ensuring seamless execution and ongoing portfolio oversight.

What role will you play?

In this dynamic and client-facing role, you will support the Client Coverage Lead in the delivery of tailored loan, deposit and payment solutions by managing the day-to-day needs of a portfolio of Australian Corporate and Institutional clients. Your responsibilities will include preparing credit deliverables, monitoring financial and non-financial covenants, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

You will also play a key role in client engagement, helping to identify opportunities to deepen relationships and deliver value-added insights. Through strong communication and analytical skills, you will contribute to strategic account planning and ensure compliance with internal risk frameworks.

What you offer

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate banking, credit risk, financial services, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with credit processes, including covenant monitoring, credit paper preparation, risk reporting, and financial modelling
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
