About the role:

As our Café Manager, you will be the driving force behind our front-of-house & back of house team. You will be a hands-on leader, committed to delivering an exceptional experience for every customer. This is a full-time role that includes managing staff, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to the growth and profitability of the café.

What We're Looking For:

  • A natural leader with strong hospitality and barista experience (both are essential)
  • A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings energy to the team
  • A team player who is also confident making decisions and leading from the front
  • Any baking experience would be ideal or someone who enjoys cooking or light baking.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading and mentoring a passionate team of both front of house and back of the house.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage inventory, place orders with suppliers, and control costs to meet budget goals.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety, in line with all health regulations.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as handling cash, managing payments, and producing operational reports.
  • Manage day-to-day café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Managing stock, ordering, and minimising wastage
  • Overseeing quality control and food presentation
  • Creating and managing staff rosters & schedules
  • Maintaining smooth communication between front-of-house and kitchen
  • Making top-quality coffee and working the register
  • Setting up attractive product displays
  • Keeping service areas clean, tidy, and welcoming
