Koorong is seeking a skilled and committed Cafe Manager to help support Penrith Pages Cafe operations moving into the future. This is a unqiue opportunity for a motivated cafe professional to take the next step, lead a team, and play a hands-on role in the ministry of Koorong. About the Role:

The Café Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running and administration of the café. Their key purpose is to ensure the café is a successful business that provides exceptional service to existing and new customers.

The role will involve prepping high quality food and beverage to food safety standards and WHS guidelines. The role will also includes, team supervision, rostering, managing cafe budgets and expenditure.

We're also looking for a bookworm, who knows Koorong products and be able to recommend them to all our customers.

About You:

  • Alignment with Koorong's Christian mission and values
  • 2-3 years of barista experience is essential.
  • Someone who is passionate and takes pride in ensuring the cafe is a fantastic experience for our customers.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS and food handling hygiene standards is essential.
  • Team leadership and training experience required, excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion to support Koorong in their mission to equip and inspire people on their personal journey with Jesus by offering the largest range of Christian resources in Australia.
  • Strong understanding of Christian products and resources is highly advantageous.
