About the role

National Parks and Wildlife Service have a unique opportunity for a Learning Technologies Officer to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage.

The Learning Technologies Officer contributes to the design and deliver high-quality, engaging training programs with a strong focus on digital and e-Learning solutions. They are responsible for the development of engaging and interactive digital resources and activities to support learning and assessment tasks, as well as managing the physical devices used by learners. Key responsibilities of this role include the integration of digital tools and platforms into course design and delivery and driving innovation in online and blended learning approaches. 

About You

You have an innovative and creative mindset and enjoy helping people develop their skills using technology.  You will have experience working in the vocational education and training environment and enjoy a challenge. You love learning how to master new skills, which you can then share with others. You're keen to join a great team, located across the state and can travel, when required, to support training being undertaken in regional locations.

Essential requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Experience in designing and delivering learning technology projects, including implementing digital tools, managing timelines and budgets, and overseeing reporting and contracts.
